AAS EOGM

The AAS Extra-Ordinary General Meeting will be held on 14th Nov 2008 at Potong Pasir Community Club (PPCC). All AAS affiliates are requested to attend.

 

Agenda

1.     Election of Vice-President

2.     Amendment of AAS Constitution

2.1   Change of place of business. Need for mailing of official legal document.

2.2   To change the signatory of issuing cheque to any 2 of the Exco Member.

2.3   One representative from each affiliated club shall be appointed by their own club to sit as a Committee Member. The maximum number of representatives from each club in the Committee should not be more then one third of the total number of Committee Members.

3.     Affiliated clubs must have members under the name of the organization. Companies which are affiliated to AAS will not be renewed.

4.     Forming of Sub-Committee to handle YOG matters, which will consist of Chairman, Vice-Chairman & 3 Committee members.

Details for National Trials

  1. To register for the NATT trials, fill in the contact form here under the 'National Archery Training Team Trials' category.
  2. A trial fee of $10 is applicable to all non-SPEX archers. Please view the event page here for further details.
  3. Trials are open to all archers for selection of next year's NATT.
  4. Archers will shoot their respective distances. Cadet FITA qualifying scores are the same.
  5. The upcoming D70 trials will also serve as the selection trial for the Myanmar compound competition. An additional trial may be scheduled for this event.
  6. Registration on Saturday will begin at 1330. The shoot will begin at 1400.
  7. Registration on Sunday will begin at 0830. The shoot will begin at 0900.
  8. The highest score for each archer will be taken from any of the trials conducted.
  9. Update on 18th Oct: Only the top 8 archers from Pesta Sukan are eligible for the Myanmar Compound Shoot.

National Archery Training Team (NATT) 2009 Selection Procedure

Selections into the National Archery Training Team (NATT) are members from the Archery Association of Singapore (AAS) affiliated Clubs. Each year selected athletes are invited to join NATT for a year to be trained and to represent Singapore in International Competitions.

Only Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) athletes are eligible.

The National Archery Training Team (NATT) will consist of the top 8 archers of each of the following categories:

 

Senior Archery Team (SAT)

1.         Recurve Man, RM

2.         Recurve Woman, RW

3.         Compound Man, CM

4.         Compound Woman, CW

Junior Archery Team (JAT) - up to and in the year of their 18th birthday

5.         Recurve Junior Man, RJM

6.         Recurve Junior Woman, RJW

7.         Compound Junior Man, CJM

8.         Compound Junior Woman, CJW

Cadet Archery Team (CAT) - up to and in the year of their 16th birthday

9.         Recurve Cadet Man, RCM

10.       Recurve Cadet Woman, RCW

11.       Compound Cadet Man, CCM

12.       Compound Cadet Woman, CCW 

 

AAS will determine each year with scores from the following tournaments

  1. Highest results from either Pesta Sukan Outdoor Target Archery held in August or AAS Annual Outdoor Target Archery held in December

  2. Four highest scores from National Trials in Outdoor Target Archery or any of the AAS sanctioned Outdoor Target Archery tournament

  3. National Trials will be organized between 6 to 8 trials in a year

  4. The final date for entrée into NATT is immediately after the last National Trials of each year

  5. Minimum qualifying scores from the following:
