From the committee list, you will have noticed that Mr. Bill Wee is no longer on the working committee. He has resigned since 11 July 2006 due to personal reasons.
We are now in the midst of preparing the competition calendar for the months of August and September and it appears to be very exciting. There are basically 2 tournaments coming your way, namely, SAFRA Indoor and Prisons’ Outdoor. Do read the details which will be on the site shortly and give them your fullest support. These events are held as part of the Pesta Sukan 2006 celebrations.
All those clubs who are interested in organizing any competitions must inform us as early as possible so that we can schedule it into the calendar of events which is being prepared currently. This will ensure that the events are properly spaced out and maximum exposure can be given to it.
SSC is asking us to submit our Coach nomination for their annual Coach Recognition Award. We have many fine archery coaches out there and I am most eager to receive your nomination of the coach whom you feel have contributed greatly to archery and who deserves such a prestigious award. The dateline has been extended and you can visit the sports council website for more details. Alternatively, you can call me at 93836113 for nomination forms.
