Greetings Archers,

We have put together the calendar of events, both locally and internationally. Do note the important dates.

The next coming tournament will be the AAS 1st National Open Shoot to be held over the weekend of 01 December 2006 to 03 December 2006. Yup, it is a 3 day event.

In this regard, AAS would like to invite interested parties and clubs to submit their proposals to organize the event. The divisions and classes have already been decided and you will need to express your interest by sending an email to the vice president together with a complete breakdown of proposed expenses, programme, fees to be charged, and assistance required of AAS. Please be bold and innovative. What we need for the archery competitions in Singapore is quality and well-run events with archers’ welfare at the core of it all.

The competition details are as follows:

This is a great opportunity to organize the above event or any of the listed events in the calendar. We strongly encourage you to submit your proposal, by the deadline of 31 October 2006, and help make the competition scene in Singapore more vibrant and exciting. If done right, there will be also be some money to be made for yourself or for the club you belong to.

Please feel free to submit proposals for the other events as well as we do want to make the process as transparent as possible. If more clubs are involved in organizing the events then it won’t be so taxing on any one individual or club.
