Youth Olympic Games 2010, Singapore

Our Men Compound Team did Singapore proud in the 16th Asian Archery Championship held in Bali from 15-21 Nov 2009. The Team lost narrowly to the Iran Team by 1 point in the Semi-Final and beat the Malaysian Team to clinch the Bronze Medal.

The 1st Asian Grand Prix 2009 was held in Bangkok. The tournament consists of archers from 20 FITA Member Associations. The breakdown of participants is as follows: 34 women and 53 Men in the Recurve division; 19 women and 36 men in the Compound division.

The venue for the first stage of the 2009 Asian Grand Prix Circuit is the FITA Accredited training centre of Bangkok. This tournament is recognised as a World Ranking Event.

The Inter-school Archery Championship is organized by AAS annually for school students from primary to junior college level.
